Early life and career

Lela debuted in the Hustler-produced Barely Legal 18th Birthday after being discovered by agent, Jim South. She was in the industry for a year and appeared in more than 40 titles before she became a contract star for ClubJenna in June 2007.

She moved from Miami to Los Angeles to pursue her career full time. Her first movie under the ClubJenna contract was Lela Undone, where she is featured in three scenes.

Lela Star as a modeling actress

Lela made a cameo appearance in rapper Kardinal Offishall's music video "Set It Off". She also appeared in Penthouse magazine as their July 2010 Pet of the Month, and thereafter appeared on The Howard Stern Show.

In August 2011, Lela Star announced on her Twitter feed that she has married and chosen to retire from the adult entertainment industry. Since the announcement of her retirement, she has returned to the industry with at least two scenes for Brazzers as of September 15, 2014. The first scene released was "Persuading Lela," the second was "Under the Desk."

In January 2018, Kanye West featured Star along with Paris Hilton and other models in an ad campaign for his Yeezy Season 6 clothing line, with all of the participants made up to look like Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian. Star's resemblance to Kim Kardashian had previously been noted in the industry. West again used Star as a model for a June 2018 shoe campaign.

Augmentation

In August 2007 she got breast implants and her cup size increased from a natural 34C to 36C. In 2011 she had her implants removed. They were replaced ahead of her return to porn in 2014.
